Where: Inokashira Park, Kichijoji Sankaku Hiroba

From Kichijoji Station via CHUO, SOBU & INOKASHIRA LINES: Use SOUTH EXIT, for Inokashira Park. Head down the stairs, cross roadand walk towards Marui OIOI. Cross Inokashira Dori and take the streetflanking Marui (either side street will lead to the park). You will pass aFamily Mart, a string of hippy shops and a Starbucks before the park enterance. Head down the stairs, turn LEFT once in the park. Walk past the Art Mart market stalls by the lakeside, keep heading straight under the track overpass and follow the creek. You’ll notice a field called “Sankaku Hiroba” on the opposite side. Either cross the creek bystone or walk a little further to cross small bridge. You made it!
From Inokashira Koen Station via INOKASHIRA LINE (Local train): Turn RIGHT at ticket gates, go down the stairs, take a sharp RIGHTagain under the tracks and you’re there.
What: The Kira Kira (sparkling) Circus is a celebration for all family and friends to come together and share a special afternoon in the park with the happy couple!
Inokashira Park is a beautiful space and the exact location where Deanne and Masao had their first date.
There is a myth that a jealous spirit lives in the lake in the middle of the park. She becomes so jealous seeing couples happy and dating that she casts a spell to ensure their relationship will fail. It has been 6 years, the spell hasn't worked yet.

公園でピクニックをしながら楽しい時間を過ごし、お祝いをしたいと思います。
井の頭公園は、僕らが初めてデートした場所。
この公園でデートとするとカップルが上手くいかないという伝説がありますが、
初めてのデートの日からすでに６年を迎えています。
Bring: Something to contribute to the perfect picnic. Bring your favorite dish or tastiest beverage. Bring a mat and some mosquito repellent. Leave the fun and games up to us.
What do you think makes a day in the park divine? Scrumptious snacks, toys, instruments, tasty wine, icy drinks, crazy friends. They are all welcome at the Kira Kira Circus.
Play games, meet and mingle, get into the picnic spirit. Enjoy the sparkling atmosphere!

Dress code: Kira Kira. Anything that sparkles - from a pair of shoelaces or a sparkling ring to a shiny sequin catsuit. If it sparkles you are going to fit right in at the Kira Kira Circus Picnic.
