FAQ of Deanne and Masao

Deanne and Masao along with their fabulous family and friends invite you to celebrate love and life together in a 3 day gala.

This is where we answer all those questions you have been nagging us with.

What on Earth do I wear to your wedding?

We think that you should wear what ever makes you feel comfortable and beautiful. If that is your matching terry toweling, polka dot pajamas then so be it. We do ask that you add a little (or a lot) sparkle to them somewhere (or all over).

We want you to have a fabulous time and part of any good party is the wardrobe pieces that turn up. So be creative and enjoy the process of preparing for a Kira Kira Circus.

It will be a Kira Kira (sparkling) Circus from beginning to end so consider some sequins, crystals, shiny fabrics for some or all of your outfit.

Keep in mind that Saturday's picnic is outdoors.

What can we buy you for a gift?

Thank you for your generosity. To be perfectly honest we have everything we want in terms of material possessions. We have lived together for over 5 years and accumulated LOTS of mutual pieces. We do not expect any gifts.

If you do wish to contribute to our honeymoon and "wedding in Australia" fund there will be a kissing booth set up at the Saturday picnic and Sunday ceremony for you to donate to.

Your decision to get married took us by surprise, are you pregnant Deanne?

No!

I cannot make it on Saturday to the picnic but I would really like to celebrate with you, what other opportunities are there?

All family and friends are invited to the Saturday Kira Kira Circus picnic, the Friday evening Drag Night for drinks and a show and then Sunday evening after party (venue TBA). Please let us know if you can make it to all or any of these events.

Sunday's small, private ceremony is reserved mostly for family and close friends.

What are you wearing?

We have a few different costumes picked out and being made by our dear friends and creative genius Kike and Kristen. They are not your traditional wedding garb but we are sure you will love them.

Can I bring my friend/partner/dog/mother in law/boss/third cousin?

Yes, we would love to welcome them to our celebrations simply let us know how many people will be accompanying you. Make sure you give them a heads up on the bling requirement.

Wait, you are having four different parties? Isn't that confusing?

No it's very simple, we think this is something worth celebrating and we want to share it with as many people as we can so we are having a weekend of events.
